Through this you can easily roll back yourself either to the previous version of the OS or just restore your Windows 10 with some tweaks.

Windows 10 Settings Option
The first and foremost thing that one has to do is to find out the methods through the system that will be recovered. We suggest you to first try it out from the Windows 10 settings itself. Below are some helpful methods that can help you in doing so. The fist method includes resetting the PC while the second one includes going back to the earlier version. Let’s see how both these options work.
1. Reset this PC
- To start the process you have to first go to the Setting
- In the Setting option you will find another option named as Update and Security.
- Now select the Recovery option under it.
- Now on the right side of your screen you can see two options one of which is Reset this PC.
- Hit on the Get Started button just below the option to start the process.
Now there is something that you have to know before going for this option. As stated above that this option allows you to keep your data safe or remove it. Let’s see what features are available in these options.
Keep My Files
In this option the system reinstalls Windows 10 while the files that are currently stored on your system remains safe from this resetting and can be used without any fail. However, all the changes made by you in the Setting of your system will be reset including all the applications and drivers completely and you have to download and install them again. So, if the files are important you can go with this option and let you data remain untouched by the system.
Remove Everything
With this the Windows 10 OS is reinstalled while all the files and folders present in the system are removed completely. Also the drivers, applications and changes that are made in Setting are removed. If the files are not that important and if you want a fresh and free system, you can select the option of Remove Everything.
Restore Factory Setting
This method will lead the system to the older version of OS installed on your system before you had upgraded it to Windows 10. Choose this option wisely as it may not give you any chance of keeping your files or anything and removes each and every drivers, applications present on your PC. However, the applications present at the time of manufacturing will be reinstalled.
2. Go to an Earlier Build
If the above two options of Reset this PC are not working for you then you can go for another option just below it i.e. Go to an earlier build. In this option your system will fall back on the previous version of Windows installed on your system whether it is Windows 8.1, 8 or 7.
Remember it is possibility that this option may not be available for all the users and if this happens then we suggest you to go for the Restore Factory Setting option under the Reset this PC wing to roll back on the older OS.
Boot Device Option
What is your system in not even coming in the condition of applying above tweak on it? Then the last option left for you is to go for Boot Device option. You have to thanks Windows 10 for developing such a maintained and useful OS as they had made the most amazing, improved and updated boot menu options for the users. Now quickly get over the steps through which you can recover/restore your system.
- First thing first, while the startup just press Shift + F8 and do it until the advanced startup options comes on your screen.
- Now the most important thing for the process to be executed is that there are two tweaks available in the current option.
- You can use the first one if you had created backup on your Windows 0S and the second one if no such action was performed ever by you.
- So if you have backup, then first tap on the Advance Option and then go to the option of Use System Recovery Image. If you are lucky then the system will be restored back to the older version.
- Now if you don’t have any backup then you after selecting the Advanced Option must tap on the option named Go Back to Windows 8.1/7. Thus your system will be recovered/restored easily. Remember this option will only actuate if you had updated to Windows 10 in this month only.
